Apply for a free entry in Saffron Directory
The Saffron Directory aims to provide local residents, visitors and businesses with as much information as possible to support local initiatives and trade. Therefore it is FREE to have an entry if your trading address is in the CB10 or CB11 area. (Charges apply for listings outside these post codes).
The information you provide is checked annually and, as well as appearing on-line, may be included in the next available printed publication. (If submitted by last day of February).
If you are Saffron Walden based i.e. have an address in CB10 or CB11, and are a business, service, club or society, you may provide your contact details and details of your goods and/or services. You may elect up to 5 categories to appear within, as well as enter keywords to help people find you. (Your company/trade/society name is automatically included as a keyword). NB only the first 20 words of your narrative will appear before a “read more” button needs to be clicked.
Once you have entered up all your details, these will be relayed to the Directory for validation.
As you are aware search engine optimisation is vital, and as the Directory will automatically link to your web-site if you include your URL, please include a link on your web-site to the Directory. This will enhance both our positions on Google. See “link to the Saffron-Directory.co.uk”.The Saffron Directory reserves the right to refuse to validate any entry it considers to be inappropriate.
In January each year you will receive an email requesting that you verify or amend your entry. A response to this email will guarantee your inclusion in the printed version, published in April. Please ensure that the address of info@saffron-directory.co.uk is a permitted contact in your email system.
